About Us
Barry J. Hough Sr. is a US Senior Citizen, Internet Tourism Marketing Consultant, Editor, Publisher, Photojournalist, and Photographer that has been residing in Jamaica since 2001. He was active in the US Tourism Industry as a businessman, restaurant owner, and consultant since 1975. While living in Maine he was appointed to, and served three years on the Maine Tourism Commission. He also served many years on the Old Orchard Beach Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and was Chamber president for two-two year terms. As a restaurant owner he served for six years on the Board of Directors of the Maine Restaurant Association. Upon semi-retiring to Jamaica in 2001 he became active in the Jamaican Tourism Industry, and Taxi and Tour Industry, as a Internet Tourism Marketing Consultant, Web Site Editor, and Publisher.
Over his years in Jamaica, he has become well know as a Concert and Special Event Photojournalist and Photographer. He has been the official photographer for the (Air) Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival, MBJ Airports - Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. In addition, he has provided professional photography services to Jam West Speedway, Catcha Fallen Star Resort, Wild Thing Water Sports Negril, Negril Tree House Resort, JUTA Tours Negril Chapter Ltd., Negril Chamber of Commerce, Lucea United Church, Pan Caribbean Bank, the Jamaica Tourist Board, the Tourism Product Development Co. Ltd., and the Ministry of Industry and Tourism. He is certified as a Tourism Product Development Co. Ltd. Team Jamaica Programme Member, and a member of JUTA Tours Negril Chapter Ltd. He currently resides with home, and office in Lucea, Hanover, Jamaica.
